A PLACE TO LAY MY HEAD

We all know when Jacob fled from Esau his life seemed unsure in jeopardy even. He came to the place Beth-El, the House of God, where he for the first time had a personal experience with the God of his father Isaac and Abraham his grandfather. Without this experience he would not have understood how to be sure he could live a life of righteousness for it has value in the eyes of a living God. This was his protection. The stone he laid his head on would be a symbol of the day his life changed fundamentally.

For all the young people at Victory Village, I trust that the cushions you made will also be a fundamental part of your lives for the good.
